Water Treatment Programme — MHM Engineering

Bangladeshi make-up water is hard and warm, and open towers breed algae in weeks. Left alone, a condenser loses 10–15% capacity to scale in a single summer and a tower fill chokes in two. MHM's water-treatment programme puts the chemistry and the dosing hardware in one pair of hands, with Finor chemicals blended for local water.

An MHM water engineer tests the circuit, sets bleed and dose, and reports hardness, conductivity, inhibitor residual, pH and microbiological counts against the targets — the same log your ISO auditor asks for.

What is included

Everything water treatment programme covers

Programme design

Raw-water analysis, cycles-of-concentration target, chemical selection and dose rates.

Dosing & bleed equipment

Metering pumps, conductivity-controlled bleed, tanks and injection points installed.

Chemical supply

Finor scale/corrosion inhibitors, oxidising and non-oxidising biocides, boiler treatment.

Water testing & report

Hardness, alkalinity, conductivity, pH, residuals, dip slides — tested on site and reported against the targets.

Cleaning & passivation

Off-line descaling of condensers and towers, new-system passivation.

Legionella control

Disinfection plan and records for towers serving hospitals, hotels and offices.

How it works

From first call to handover

  1. 1

    Water & system audit

Samples from make-up and circuit, coupon rack installed, existing scale assessed.

  2. 2

    Programme start

Equipment installed, initial clean where needed, dose set and operators trained.

  3. 3

    Follow-up testing

Testing, dose adjustment and chemical supply whenever the plant needs it.

Questions

Common questions about water treatment programme

An inhibitor programme stops new scale; existing deposits need an off-line chemical clean first, which we include in the start-up phase.

Bleed-off at the recommended cycles meets DoE limits; we advise on neutralisation where a site discharges to a sensitive drain.
